What is the Candidate Registry?
In accordance with the Local Authorities Election Act (LAEA) of Alberta, all individuals intending to run for Council in Cardston County must submit a completed Candidate Information Form (Form 5) to be included in the Cardston County Candidate Registry. This registry is maintained by the Returning Officer and made available to the public to ensure transparency in the election process.
